Sophie and Marcos met in Australia, first as friends, then slowly, unmistakably, as something more. Back home in Argentina, the plan was always to marry there, but COVID had other ideas, and with borders closed, the wedding they'd dreamed of wasn't going to happen the way they'd imagined. So their closest friends stepped in and did what friends do: they planned a surprise wedding. It turned into the kind of day you'd pin to a mood board… a full, heartfelt ceremony, messages and voice notes from family and friends scattered across the world, and vows exchanged barefoot on the sand, exactly like they'd always pictured. What makes Sophie and Marcos work is how deliberately they've built what they have. Nothing borrowed, nothing assumed, just a relationship shaped entirely on their own terms. These days, that relationship has grown into a family of four.
